Pet Pantry Pro is designed for organizations that support people and their pets. We believe privacy is part of treating every household with dignity. This notice describes our current private-pilot practices and will be updated as the service grows.
Information the software may process
Organizations using Pet Pantry Pro may enter information about their food bank, clients, households, pets, visits, food distributions, notes, and staff-approved eligibility overrides. Cloud account information may include an email address, authentication records, and identifiers used to connect an authorized user to an organization.
How information is used
- To provide client, pet, visit, reporting, backup, recovery, and synchronization functions.
- To authenticate authorized users and connect approved computers to a pantry.
- To diagnose errors, protect data integrity, and provide support.
- To improve reliability and understand broad product usage without selling personal data.
Local and cloud storage
The Windows application keeps an SQLite database on the computer for offline reliability. If an organization enables cloud synchronization, supported data is also stored through our cloud service providers so approved computers can stay synchronized. Organizations should maintain appropriate physical access controls and backups for their own computers.
Service providers
Pet Pantry Pro currently uses Supabase for cloud database and account services and Firebase Hosting for this website. These providers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Website fonts may be delivered by Google Fonts.
Information we do not sell
We do not sell client, pet, household, or organization data. We do not use pantry records for third-party advertising.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained as needed to provide the service and preserve organizational history. Some deletions are recoverable by design to protect against accidental data loss. An authorized organization representative may request account or cloud-data deletion by contacting support. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Security
We use practical safeguards including authenticated access, organization-scoped cloud rules, encrypted network connections, local database constraints, recoverable deletion, and backup tools. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please report a suspected security problem promptly and do not include client data in an ordinary email.
Children's information
Pet Pantry Pro is licensed to organizations and is not directed to children. Pantry organizations are responsible for deciding what household information is appropriate and lawful to collect. The current application does not require individual names of children.
Organization responsibilities
Each organization controls the records it enters and is responsible for its privacy notices, lawful basis, retention policies, user access, and staff practices. Pet Pantry Pro should collect only the information genuinely needed to operate a pet food pantry.
